The DASH program is conducted by the City of Chula Vista Parks and Recreation Department. DASH services are provided at 18 elementary school playgrounds in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Marshall is a participating school. DASH operates Monday through Friday from dismissal time to 5:00 p.m. Students must register in advance and are subject to a code of conduct. The program is free and includes students in grades 1-6. Activities include sports clinics, arts and crafts, cooperative games, traditional playground games, and weekly challenges. YMCA Child Care operates daily before school from 6:00 a.m.until school begins, and after school until 6:30 p.m.. The program is run by child care specialists, and parents must pay a fee for their services. There is a special program available for our morning kindergartens.
